SUUSIships
SUUSIships are scholarships awarded to attendees by The SUUSI Foundation. These funds are available thanks to the generous donations of the SUUSI community. In exchange for financial assistance, recipients may be asked to volunteer their time during the week of SUUSI.
To apply for a scholarship, you must first complete your SUUSI registration and then indicate you are applying for a SUUSIship on the payment page. You will then receive a link to complete the application and may be requested to submit additional information. The SUUSIship Coordinator will confirm with you once your application is complete. Be sure to pay attention to all deadlines, as incomplete applications will not be reviewed. All applications and their supporting documents are kept strictly confidential.
SUUSIship funds may only be used to cover the cost of registration, housing, and/or meals. They are not to be used to cover the cost of workshops, nature trips, travel, etc. Additionally, the maximum award does not include the $50 fee assessed for registering after May 15, so be sure to apply early!
Applications will open on the same day as registration, and there will be three rounds of awards:
Round 1: Applications completed by April 21, Notified by April 30
Round 2: Applications completed by May 15, Notified by May 31
Round 3: Applications completed by June 19, Notified by June 30
